Welcome to Bright Spark Cleaning Services. By using our website, booking our services, or interacting with our company, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Bright Spark Cleaning Services is a cleaning agency providing domestic cleaning services across Lincoln and surrounding areas. Cleaners are self-employed and introduced to clients through our service. All insurance, vetting, and administrative support is covered by our agency fee.
2. Booking and Payments
2.1 Agency Structure

Cleaners are self-employed and paid directly by you, the client.

Bright Spark Cleaning charges a separate agency fee which covers insurance, admin, security checks, and customer support.

The agency fee is currently £3 per hour per cleaner, invoiced monthly via Direct Debit or another agreed payment method.
2.2 Payment to Cleaners

You are responsible for paying your cleaner directly at the agreed hourly rate (typically £15 per hour).

Cleaners operate independently and are not employees of Bright Spark Cleaning Services.
3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide a safe working environment for the cleaner.

Clients agree not to hire any introduced cleaner directly without going through Bright Spark Cleaning Services for a minimum of 12 months after introduction.

Any attempt to bypass our service may incur a fee equivalent to 6 months of agency fees as compensation
4. Cleaners’ Responsibilities

Cleaners are expected to carry out tasks as agreed during the initial consultation or booking process.

They must carry appropriate insurance and operate their own vehicles where required.

Bright Spark Cleaning does not accept liability for loss or damage caused by the cleaner. However, we can help mediate and advise on resolutions where appropriate.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a clean.

Short-notice cancellations may still be charged at the cleaner’s discretion.

If a cleaner is unavailable, we will do our best to provide a suitable replacement.
6. Insurance and Liability

Bright Spark Cleaning holds Public Liability Insurance to cover you during cleans arranged through us.

However, we are not responsible for damage, breakages, or losses resulting from the actions of a self-employed cleaner.

Cleaners are also required to hold their own personal liability insurance.
7. Website Usage
By using our website (www.brightsparkcleaning.co.uk), you agree not to misuse the content, copy materials, or attempt to breach our site’s security.
8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
